Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As the droplets on the fresh grass And as the showers on the herb (Deuteronomy 32:2).
There I was, preparing my coffee and getting ready to enter His Throne Room. This is my daily routine. After my husband leaves for work very early in the morning, I get ready to meet My King.
As I was preparing my coffee, thoughts began to run in my mind -- thoughts of daily duties and responsibilities that instantly weighed down my soul. I walked over to where my candle was and lit it. Thoughts were still running in my mind. I was even thinking how to present it before My King. I turned off all the lights and turned my instrumental prophetic worship music on.
As the first few notes played, I felt like I was snapped out of my realm into His realm. A heavy but light weight covered me. Soft wind began to blow on my face as my whole body was blanketed in the most comfortable feeling I can ever imagine. I began to sing and worship Him, with words that were not simply mine but His. Tears ran down my cheeks as I was engulfed in the beauty of His holiness.
I walked over to the back door and opened the blinds. It was still a little bit dark but I could see the clearness of the sky and the stillness of the trees. I opened the door to feel the cool air. It was the smell of fresh air in the morning ... the smell of fresh dew.
All the carnal thoughts I had prior to entering His Throne Room dissipated in the air. His presence was stronger than my fears. His love melted away all my worries. His "being" was greater than all my fleeting desires.
This is where He wants to take us each day. He wants to give us His fresh dew that is new every morning. He may not answer your prayers right away, but He wants you to experience Him and His realm. He wants to take you out of this world and bring you to His world. He wants to take away all the things that do not even matter, because only JESUS matters. He wants to get us to that place, so that we can transcend beyond our situations.
In His presence, I feel speechless. In His presence, there is no place to complain because His love melts away anything that does not give glory unto His holy name. I don't even have to try to bite my tongue or to control myself. Everything that is of 'the flesh' simply dissipates in the presence of His Spirit.
"My child," I hear the Spirit of God saying, "You are worried about so many things. Don't you know that I already know your needs before you even think of it? I know it is not easy, so come to Me. Let Me bring you out of your situation and show you what I see. Come and I will show you things you do not have a clue about. Come and I will give you something greater than all your prayers combined. I am longing to reveal more to you. I am longing to make Myself known. I am longing to refresh you with My fresh dew. I am waiting for you."
